Sam's cardiologist visit was as good as it could possibly be.... No SVT issues with the 24 hour halter monitor! No propranolol!
There is still a 30+% chance the SVT could come back. The next likely window for a reoccurrence is at 4-5 yrs old. For now Kate and I are enjoying the moment and not having to worry about falling asleep before his ten pm dose. Sam hasn't noticed any change at all. He was getting used to putting on a stethoscope and checking the baby's heart rate by putting the other end on Katie's tummy and saying "boom boom... boom boom". Thank you for the prayers for Sam's heart. Since he was about a month old this outcome was the best case scenerio.
We went to Steve and Lisa's for Halloween. There were reports of a crazed monkey throwing leaves and terrorizing the neighborhood. I got a picture.
